Charitable Giving
Charitable giving decisions are quite personal and often complex. The dynamics of the charitable giving decision-making process are often unique to the individual. Charitable giving can be accomplished in many ways: through gifts of life insurance, outright gifts of cash, pledges, charitable remainder trusts, donor advised funds, securities and bequests in wills, among others. It’s our view that properly planned and executed, a charitable giving plan can be one of an individual’s most important accomplishments. And so we take seriously our part in helping our clients develop such a plan. Never losing sight of the goals and objectives of our clients, we make sure that charitable contributions are directed in ways that achieve those goals through appropriate vehicles that benefit the recipient and reduce the tax liabilities of all parties as much as possible.
